Psychotherapist, Director

Matt Quick, LPC, NCC

My goal is to provide a space where you can set everything down. Life is coming at you a mile a minute and sometimes there is no margin for you.

Meet Matt!

My hope is to offer you space to freely unload the burdens that are heavy on your shoulders. You’ve no doubt tried to handle things on your own up to this point. Maybe the support of friends and family is either not enough or not possible.

I am here to listen and be present with you in this overwhelming time. Though I listen, I don’t just stare at you for the whole session with a smile and a nod. I offer observations and feedback. I do not give advice or tell you what I would do. Instead, I help you look for the best solution for YOU. I may not always take your side as friends and family often do, in the attempt to avoid disappointing you. Rather, I am here to identify what is healthy vs. unhealthy and functional vs. dysfunctional. I stand alongside you, not in front of you as a teacher; I do not tell you what to do.

My hope is that, through the process of unloading your burdens and exploring all their implications, you begin to make your own connections about how to move forward with your life. Change begins with you.
